quetta, my beloved but beleaguered city, this morning, eid day mayhem – oh my enemies, why is the peace and sanctity of eid, the day after ramzan, not sacrosanct to you? how can i keep forgiving you, how can i not get angry, how can i not be mad – please stop in the name of the Allah that you bow to, stop!

as we come to the end of ramazan, having spent the month asking Allah for His forgiveness, let us spend the last day or two thinking of those who in some way we think offended us, and find it in our hearts to forgive them.
may Allah accept our prayers, supplications, and offering of ramzan; grant all our loved ones his blessings and grace; and forgive our loved ones not in this world any longer. aamen.
an Irish poem
as if someone spoke from across the chasm. so soothing and calming in effect. please share for your loved ones gone to meet Him in His land!
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free!
I follow the plan God laid for me.
I saw His face, I heard His call,
I took His hand and left it all…
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss…
Ah yes, these things I, too, shall miss.
My life’s been full, I’ve savoured much:
Good times, good friends, a loved-one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief –
Don’t shorten yours with undue grief.
Be not burdened with tears of sorrow,
Enjoy the sunshine of the morrow.
